We will be talking about the word of God and how he moved in my life as I stood on his word. His signs and wonders that I have seen during the last forty years praying for my needs and the needs of others. I hope to encourage a new generation of believers to pray the word of God and to believe that He will move on their behalf. God answers prayers!

Ep 69 Where two or three, are Jesus is there!
Spiritual authority isn't reserved for church leaders or biblical giants—it's your inheritance as a believer. In this illuminating episode, we unpack the profound yet practical wisdom found in Matthew 18, revealing how Jesus established both a framework for healthy conflict resolution and a blueprint for exercising spiritual power.
Have you ever wondered how to handle those uncomfortable moments when another believer wrongs you? Jesus outlines a remarkably sensible approach: start privately, escalate thoughtfully, and always aim for restoration rather than revenge. This divine wisdom preserves relationships while honoring truth—a balance we desperately need in our divided world.
But Matthew 18 contains an even more transformative revelation about the spiritual authority granted to every believer. When Jesus speaks about "binding and loosing," He's giving us access to heaven's power on earth. Through vivid examples and practical applications, we explore how this principle works in real-life situations—from prison ministry to personal prayer. You'll discover how to bind opposing spiritual forces and loose God's righteousness in any circumstance you face.
The promise that Christ is present "where two or three gather" isn't just comforting theology—it's a spiritual reality with extraordinary implications. When believers unite in prayer and purpose, they create a spiritual environment where God's power flows unhindered. This isn't about controlling others but exercising the spiritual authority Christ died to give you.

Well, good morning, welcome to Faith Walk. Listen, we have been in Matthew, chapter 18, and I'm going to continue on in Matthew, chapter 18. In Matthew, chapter 18, in verse 15, it says Moreover, if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he shall hear you, then you've gained your brother, you've restored a relationship. That's what he's saying. Go tell him.
Speaker 1:Sometimes they don't even know that you think that they've offended you. Go and tell them. Go tell them why you think they have offended you or why they have trespassed against you. But in verse 16, it says If he will not hear you, then take two or three with you that in the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word may be established. In other words, the three witnesses can hear everything that is said. The three witnesses, or two witnesses, can hear what the problem is, what the trespass is, and they can also hear what your answer is Like. If you came to me, they would hear what I would say to you. All right.
Speaker 1:And it says and if he in verse 17, if he shall neglect to hear them, so they will judge between the two when they talk to you, if you reject what they're saying to you. It says take it to the church, Go to the church, go to the church, tell the church and if he neglect to hear the church, then let him be to you as heathen man and a publican. So all right. So this guy that you went to and you told him he trespassed against you, was against the church and against the will of God, and you told him and he didn't hear you. You get two or three more out of the church and go tell them and they tell him and they back up and he don't hear you. Then you take it to the church and the church will tell him. And if he doesn't hear you, then he's as a publican or as a sinner to you. You know you have to ask him to remove from the body of church until the time is that they repent and they come back in the church.
Speaker 1:Now verse 18, it says Verily I say unto you whatsoever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. Whatsoever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. And again I say that if two or three of you agree on earth is touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my father, which is in heaven. Now listen, this is the scripture. Matthew 18, verses 18 and 19, is the power of binding and loosing, loosening, loosening. There's things in this earth that we need to bind up and there's things that we need to loose. We need to bind up the things of the devil. We need to bind up the evil things. We need to pray that the Lord would bind up those evil people and the evil things in the earth, and then we loose the Holy Spirit to minister to those people, to change their heart, that they might come into the knowledge of God, and we loose the Holy Spirit to do things in the earth that God wants to be once done. You know the will of God. We need to loose the Holy Spirit, the angels of God, to make a way where those things can be done All right. So let me give you a little, let me give you just a little bit of a prayer that how I would use this. So we're fixing to go in the detention center and so, as I'm praying, before we go in the detention center, I said, lord, I thank you, I thank you, lord, jesus, that your Holy Spirit goes into that prison and begins ministering to the heart. Send your ministering angels to till the fallow ground of the hearts of those. Father, I bind right now, satan in the lives, in the minds, in the hearts of those prisoners tomorrow morning and I command them to loose them in Jesus' name, that your Holy Spirit might speak to their ears, that they might see him with their eyes, that they might feel him with their heart and that they might make confession into salvation through the power of your Holy Spirit. Father, I thank you for binding and loosing. I thank you, father, that where two or three are gathered there, you are in the midst of them. And, father, I thank you, where two or three are gathered, listen to this podcast. Right now, you are in the midst of us. And I thank you, father, that if we agree as touching anything on earth, as your word says and we ask it, it shall be done for them, of my Father, which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered, there, you are in my name and you are in the midst, in Jesus' name. I thank you, father, that prayer is heard. I thank you that the petitions that we made unto you as heard, for you hear our prayer always, father, and you will wake up those prisoners, father, that need a touch from you, those prisoners that come into that meeting expecting to receive something for you. I thank you for that, lord. I thank you for it in Jesus' name. Well, there you go.
Speaker 1:There's how we can use binding and loosing. You know, we can bind the evil spirits. We can bind Satan if we're having a meeting, or we can bind Satan if he's trying to stir up the town. We can come against and us as Christians can come against him and bind him and then loose sovereign power and God's Holy Spirit to minister to the hearts that are being used by the devil and his forces. When I say the devil, I include them all, you know, all of his little imps, nymphs and everything else. All right. So this is a very good principle that we can learn to pray and we can use, because God has given us the spirit of binding and loosening. He has given us the word. See, the word of God is always true. The word of God is always true.
Speaker 1:Do you notice in the first one, when he's talking about in the mouth of two or three witnesses and going talking to your brother, and then here it says where two or three are gathered there, I am in the midst. There's a principle. That principle, two or three. Now listen. I use it to the Word of God. I use it when I'm studying the Word of God. I use the principle of two or three witnesses before I can say, oh, this is what God is saying to me.
Speaker 1:If I read a scripture and I believe that the Holy Spirit is showing me that it means something, means something to me that I hadn't seen before or hadn't heard preached before, then what I do is I seek out two or three more scriptures or passages in the whole Bible that align up with what I'm just reading and what I'm thinking and what I'm believing that the Holy Spirit is showing me. So in the mouth of two or three witnesses can be two or three witnesses in the scripture to show me that what I feel that the Holy Spirit is teaching me is true. See, two or three witnesses. And it says that in the mouth of you know where two or three are gathered. There you are. So if two of you are gathered, if two of you are gathered in prayer, there Christ is Now think about how powerful that is.
Speaker 1:Think about how powerful if your husband and a wife are praying together, two or three are gathered there. He is in the midst. You see, we have to keep our focus that Christ is with us through the presence of the Holy Spirit, and he's there with us, leading us and guiding us and wanting to be a part of our life, there with us, leading us and guiding us and wanting to be a part of our life. And he wants us to use the power of binding and loosening on the earth so we can bind the evil forces upon the earth and we can loose God's righteous power, god's righteousness upon the earth. And you know, the battle's been won, the war's been won, but the battle's going on in our flesh and in the earth until Christ comes back again. But we have these tools. We have these tools that we can use. And you know, some people, in another scripture it talks about the keys to the kingdom of heaven being. You know, you can bind whatever you say.
Speaker 1:And he gave them to Peter. Well, look, he didn't give them to Peter. Well, look, he didn't give them to Peter here, did he? He didn't give it just to Peter, he gave it to the church, he gave it to the Christian, the born again, spirit filled Christian, man of God, woman of God, child of God. God wants us to have power, to walk with power in our faith. Walk man, you know he doesn't want us to be weak, he doesn't want us to be powerless. He did not leave us powerless. He sent us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, which filled us with power, dunamis, from on high. Well, listen, I've got to wrap this up and I really enjoy this. I hope you enjoy it. Like, hit, share.
