Faith Walk / William Carroll
We will be talking about the word of God and how he moved in my life as I stood on his word. His signs and wonders that I have seen during the last forty years praying for my needs and the needs of others. I hope to encourage a new generation of believers to pray the word of God and to believe that He will move on their behalf. God answers prayers!

Ep 86 Faith & Action
Knowing God personally creates spiritual authority that even demons recognize, as illustrated in Acts 19 where seven exorcists failed because they only knew "Jesus whom Paul preaches" rather than having their own relationship with Christ. True spiritual power comes from intimate relationship with Jesus, not borrowed authority or religious formulas.
• Pray daily: "Lord, open my eyes to see as you see, open my ears to hear as you hear, open my heart to feel what you feel, and open my mouth to speak as you speak"
• Demons recognize the difference between those who truly know Jesus and those who just know about Him
• Start building faith with small prayers—like asking for parking spots—before tackling bigger challenges
• God cares about every aspect of your life, both small and significant
• Faith grows when you experience God's faithfulness in everyday situations
• True transformation comes through the Holy Spirit as you immerse yourself in God's Word
• Authentic relationship with Christ creates genuine spiritual authority

Hey, welcome to Faith Walk Podcast, episode number 86, and let's go ahead and say our prayer today. Lord, open my eyes to see as you see, open my ears to hear as you hear, open my heart to feel what you feel and open my mouth to speak as you speak. If you pray that prayer every day, it'll change your life. Listen, we've been talking about the last few episodes about knowing God and not just knowing of Him and God, knowing us, knowing God like he knows us, and I wanted to continue on and I wanted to go to Acts, chapter 19. Acts, chapter 19. Get your Bibles out. Let's have a little study here. Let's do a little learning. Listen, if you don't agree with me, okay, study it out, find out where I'm wrong, you know, send me a note, we'll look at it, all right? Anyway, in Acts 19, verse 13, it starts out. It says there were some itinerant Jewish exorcists and they took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying we exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches. And there were seven sons of Siva, a Jewish priest, who did so, and the evil spirit answered and said Jesus, I know, paul, I know, but who are you? And the evil spirit was magnified and many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds. All right, so you got some itinerant Jewish exorcists.
Speaker 1:Okay, so they listen, they knew they knew of Jesus, they knew what had been going on, but they didn't believe they were itinerant Jewish exorcists and what they were doing. They were going from town to town and they were seeking out and asking people, you know, who they thought might have had devils, and they'd go over there and they would exorcise the devils, because they had seen Jesus casting out demons, devils. And so they started and they had heard of Peter and and John and the other apostles and disciples casting out demons in the name of Jesus and healing in the name of Jesus. So these seven sons they were seven sons of a high priest and they were out going. They were making a name for themselves. They were in Jewish school, trying to make a name for themselves as exorcists and as men of God that had power and anointing. And what they did? They were seeking out people with demons in these towns.
Speaker 1:But what they didn't do, they didn't know Jesus and they started using because they had seen Paul and had seen other ministers using the name of Jesus. They started using the name of Jesus to cast demons out. They would say in the name of Jesus, you know, we cast you out. Well, actually they would add something to it. They'd say come out in the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches.
Speaker 1:Listen, you can't cast out demons, you can't cast out devils in the name of Jesus that I preach or anybody else preaches. You have to know him in a relationship, in a personal relationship. You have to know him as he knows you, and we've been saying that a lot and I just want you to get that down. So you know that spirit and that man jumped on them and he beat them and they fled from them, because the spirits even know Jesus. I know Paul, I know, but who are you? I'm going to tell you, if you know God and are known by God, the devils know that you know, they know that you understand and you have a knowledge of Christ and Christ has a knowledge of you and it's a personal relationship and they know, if you say, come out in the name of Jesus, that they have to come out in the name of Jesus. So you need to know. You need to know that you know him and that he knows you. You need to know that for sure and you definitely don't need to be trying to make yourself a name as a pastor or a preacher or anything else.
Speaker 1:These were Jewish young men trying to make a name for themselves. Listen, this isn't a game that we're playing. You better know Jesus as he knows you. You better know Him in the power of His resurrection. You better know that you know Him and you better know that he knows you. And you better know that you know what and you better know that he knows you. And you better know that you know what he's thinking and that you're doing what he's thinking and what he's wanting, because he's going to lead and guide you. He's never going to make you do something you don't want to do. He's going to lead and guide you and encourage you and lift you up and take you where he wants you to go.
Speaker 1:But you have to learn his voice. You have to learn to hear the word. You have to learn to hear him speak to you through the word, through the voice, through other people's. You have to learn that. You have to know that and you have to believe that he is the same God today, yesterday and forever. You have to believe those things and you have to know those things. You know a simple way of putting this in practice and learning.
Speaker 1:Does God hear me? I'll tell you what dude. I do this all the time, and man I mean, and my mother does it. She's 88 years old and she prays for a parking spot. Lord, give me a close parking spot where I don't have to walk far. And he always does. And I do this and I'm telling you what. It's amazing how close I can get when there's no parking spots, nowhere. All of a sudden, there's one right there for me. And listen, you start believing God and trusting God and praying Lord, provide me a parking spot or something else. And listen, god will do it. He loves you.
Speaker 1:Now, do you know him? You need to ask him as your Lord and Savior. If you don't know him, and just ask him to come into your life, forgive you of your sins, wash him in his blood and cleanse you and give you a clean heart. In Jesus' name. Listen, god loves you so much and it's not up to you to change. It's up to the Holy Spirit to change you. But for the Holy Spirit to change you, you have to learn the Word of God. You have to know the Word of God. You have to know Jesus as you are known by Him, you know. I mean this is something that is tangible, this is something that you can feel, that you know. When you know your prayers are answered, then you know you're being heard by heaven and God will use simple things to get your attention.
Speaker 1:So when it's the big things that you have to pray for, that you're bold to go into them, you're bold to say my God did that. If you know of him, you know and all the things that he did for the children of Israel, and you go my God did that. He can do that for me. See, that's when you begin to walk in with him. That's when you begin having a faith walk.
Speaker 1:That's that's when you begin to see God and you see him move and you start praying for the small things and you start believing that God cares about the small things. And he'll start doing it. You know He'll make you a parking spot up close, where there is none or whatever. It is Little things. You know it doesn't. You're not tempting God, you're not trying God, you're just thanking. I just say thank you, lord, I have a parking spot up close. Thank you, lord, I appreciate it. And then when I come in there, it works. Listen, god is cared about every aspect of your life. But you can't trust him on big things if you don't start knowing how he thinks, how he is, on little things.
Speaker 1:So I want to encourage you, learn of God, know him as he knows you as you know, as always. Just call out upon the Holy Spirit to lead and to guide you, to show you the truth in the word. And I hope I spoon fed you something this morning and that you just take it and you run with it and you get in the word and you go. I'm going to find out if he's saying it's true, it's true, and I'm going to go read that and see if that's what that says. Do that, that's what I like, that's what I want, and if you like this video, if it's ministered to you this word today, then I want you to reach out, to send it to somebody to like to share, to do all those things that you know to do, to follow you know, so that you get the episodes when they come up. You know. God bless you. I love you. Until next time, have a great day.
